Study models are made from inexpensive polyurethane foam.  Structure models can easily be shaped from a high-density, 4 pound, urethane foam.  Topo sites can be cut accurately by machine using your topography contour drawings from 2 pound urethane foam at any thickness.  The model can then be finished off with landscaping features, roads, vehicles, and people to the desired scale.
